Important Dates

• July All students get registered on UCAS in school. Students should fill in as much of their application as possible before the summer. APPLICATIONS WILL BE DEALT WITH ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED, BASIS…
• September Applications to UCAS officially open and they can submit applications ANY TIME FROM NOW. Earlier applicants stand a better chance!
• Early October Deadline for music courses at Conservatoires – check online
• 15 October Final official deadline for applications for Oxbridge, Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science courses.
• LIFELINE – FRIDAY BEFORE AUTUMN HALF TERM Submission date for students who want to beat the rush & get their applications sent off in decent time.
• 2^nd Friday in November – DEADLINE Latest date for sending applications to Sixth Form team for checking. We do not guarantee to send applications to UCAS before the deadline if the Sixth Form team receive them after this date.

UCAS also publishes deadlines for the rest of the year, but these have not been released yet for this year. Typically, the dates are as below – but do check the actual UCAS website here to be sure.

• 26 January Official UCAS deadline for most applications.
• 24 March Deadline for some Art/Design courses.
• 4 May Applicants who received all uni decisions by March 31 should reply by this date.
• 5 May Applications were submitted by the January deadline should have had final decisions from universities or colleges.
• By mid June most applicants should have replied to offers and selected Firm & Insurance options. Second Thursday in August A-level results published. Confirmation of offers for those who have met the grades; Clearing for those who have not. Students with higher grades than predicted may enter Adjustment.
